Cleaning Kit for Bansuri (Indian Bamboo Flute)

An essential product for anyone playing the bansuri. It’s a bamboo stick with a long, thin cloth. You wrap the cloth around the stick, adjust the thickness and slowly insert it in the flute. It fits all sizes. This is a must have as it prevents mold and bacteria to grow inside the flute. Since bamboo is natural and we breathe into it - the bacteria from our mouth together with the warmth and darkness, creates the perfect environment for mold to grow. Therefore it is necessary to clean the flute regularly.

The kit includes:

• A cloth made by handwoven, organic and naturally dyed cotton from India
• A natural bamboo stick

This product is made by Harbans Lal, a master stitcher who works for my good friend friend's organic clothing studio in Chandigarh.
